Quality Policy
Every item on THRYFTIFY is inspected before listing. Here's how we grade condition:
Grading scale
- Grade A / Excellent — No visible flaws. Looks close to new, minimal signs of prior wear.
- Grade B / Good — Light wear consistent with age — minor fading, small marks, no structural damage.
- Grade C / Fair — Noticeable wear — visible fading, small stains, minor repairs done or needed. Priced accordingly.
- Grade D / As-Is — Sold for the fabric/style/rarity despite flaws — holes, heavy staining, missing buttons, etc. Always clearly disclosed.
What we check on every piece
- Fabric condition (holes, thinning, stains)
- Seams and stitching
- Zippers, buttons, closures
- Odor
- Authenticity of era/style claims (for vintage-labeled pieces)
What we don't do We don't sell items with odor issues, mold, or damage we haven't disclosed. If a flaw exists, it's in the listing — in writing and in photos.
Bulk lots Bulk lots are graded by mix — e.g., "70% Grade A/B, 30% Grade C" — disclosed before you buy. We don't hide low-grade stock inside high-grade lots.
